Meindert Talma (born Surhuisterveen, The Netherlands, 02 November 1968) is a Dutch writer, keyboardist and singer/songwriter, who has recorded songs with lyrics in three different languages: Dutch, English and (his mothertongue) Frisian. He lives and works in the Dutch town of Groningen. In total, Talma released ten studio albums: three solo albums under his own name (for those works see: Meindert Talma), six with The Negroes and one album of football/soccer songs with a special backing band named De Rode Kaarten ('The Red Cards'; see Meindert Talma & de Rode Kaarten).
