Educated Consumers is a hip-hop duo consisting of producer t.E.C.K! and emcee SeezMics. Educated Consumers are a two man bridge between hip hop’s golden eras. The duo’s critically acclaimed sound is formed from the two staples of rap music: boom-bap production and externally introspective lyrics. Jason, aka Jay Bombbeat, provides a piece of history in every track. His sample based production combines one of the world’s most extensive record collections, a deep appreciation for hip hop’s boom-bap era, and a few tricks with the MPC that leave other producers scratching their heads.
