Piet van Dongen was born in the early morning of December 2, 1983 as Peter van Dongen. To prevent confusion with his father, Peter, he was called Piet. The first four years of his life weren’t very interesting from a musical perspective. As of his fifth, however, he began building his music library. His first acquisitions were some Michael Jackson and George Michael tapes. This was celebrated at primary school, doing a playback show of the King of Pop’s greatest hits.
