Key-Matic was an old school hip-hop group that released "Breakin' In Space," a 1983 gem designed for breakers, and full of the electro-hop sound prevalent at that stage of hip-hop. Key-Matic's Breakin' In Space was by far radar records biggest 'hit', and the record holds a place in the pantheon of early electro master pieces. It has all the right ingredients, tastefully done vocoder, non lame old school raps about space, dubbed out synths and cosmic overtones.
