Laura Sippola (born 1974) is a finnish pianist, singer-songwriter and composer. She has studied both classical piano playing and jazz music in the Sibelius Academy. Besides composing she plays concerts (for example, hosting the always popular Laulutupa club in Helsinki) and teaches piano. Her musical style has influences from diverse areas of music. Her love for the songs of Joni Mitchell is combined in her own songs brilliantly to a bit more jazzy rhythms.
