Shirley Anne Hofmann
Shirley Anne Hoffman (b. Canada, 1959) is a multi-instrumentalist, vocalist and composer. She plays several brass instruments (tuba, euphonium, et.al.), keyboards (piano, accordion,et.al.), and is known for her experimental use of the voice. She studied in Montreal and moved to Switzerland in the 1980s to pursue her interest in Central European Folk music and the European avant-garde/avant-prog community.
