Crop Failure is a band from Hamilton, Ontario formed in late 2009. Members Brandon Strychowsky (drums), Matt Jackson (bass), and Mark Hornich (guitar, vocals) combine different musical tastes into a sort of punk/math music, with some melodic sections and some of terrible noise. Spastic songs for which your family might abandon you are often followed by emotional ballads you can play for your mother. Their first self-titled full length release, on vinyl and digital download, came out on their own label Retired Records in late June 2011.
