Hopie is a rapper from from San Francisco. Hopie Spitshard was born in Manila and raised in SF's Sunset District and Daly City. At 11, Hopie started rapping and composing music as "Kae Hope." By 19, Hopie was a seasoned singer/songwriter. Throughout college, she performed monthly with a cover band its lead vocalist/drummer and had regular recording sessions around the Bay Area. At 22, Hopie joined the rap duo, "The Wrong Hands," and released a collaborative album, We All Fall, in February 2008.
