Swedish soprano Nina Stemme sings a variety of leading roles at the opera houses of Stockholm, Vienna, Dresden, Geneva, Naples, and New York. She has also performed at the fesitivals of Saltzburg and Glyndebourne, among others. Her repertoire ranges from Puccini (Butterfly) and Janácek (Jenufa) to Mozart (the Countess) and Verdi (Aida, Amelia in Ballo). In the Wagner repertoire, she performs Eva, Elizabeth, Elsa, Senta, Sieglinde, and Isolde. Future roles include Salome, Brunnhilde, Leonore in Fidelio, and Rusalka.
