In the beginning nustyrecords aimed to explore the limits of digital sound through critical wave modulation and sound research labs. The duo divided their competences in the following way: Santiago worked mostly on the rhythms while Sergio studied the harmonies and melody.
Their first releases belong firmly in the noise category, with compositions developing around tone, pitch and rhythmical phrases in a braid of imperceptible progressions born from empathy and inspiration.
