idm/ambient project of Robi Uppin from Talinn, Estonia. In the end of the 80's Robi Uppin (M.i.M) moved to Sweden/Stockhom where artist like Depeche Mode, Kraftwerk and early bleep blop breakbeat inspired him later thru MTV. During the early nineteen’s he experimented heavily with Detroit sound and Minimalism and on the parallel side with the emerging drum 'n bass styles. That work lead later to releases on Lapdance and Driftwood Records. (Plastic City Records). Project M.i.M was originally born in 1998 when the musical style turned back to the early breakbeat style.
