Mergel Kratzer evolved from the barren enviroments of Gotland.
Inspiration from a cementfactory combined with fast arpeggiated synthesiezers and hammering basslines created the sound. A hoarse voice and some distorted beats added the EBM-touch... Back in 2005 when it all started, it was just Joel and Kalle. They decided to start a band with one clear ambition; to make a better live show than most of the electronic bands out there. And there was only one way to go: the way through hard work practice.
