Sen Kumpë began with the meeting of two rappers (Bourba Djoloff and Baay Sén), and producer (Ama Diop) from Dakar's neighborhood "Médina" releasing their first album in 1996. Modou (1976-2010) aka Bourba Jollof of Sen Kumpe. Bourba was at the heart of Nomadic Wax’s creation 10 years ago in Dakar.
