Toru Tanabe, japanese opera singer, at the moment living in Frankfur am Main/Germany, first studied the flute and the piano and then dedicated himself to his singing- and opera studies at the universities of Musashi(Tokyo), Salzburg and Graz.
Tanabe is laureate of the singing contests "Italo-Giappone" (Tokio) and the international opera contest "A.Catalani" (Ostra/ Italien) and is a professional opera singer in Germany since 1992.
