8bit Pipe's story begins in 2007. Six people teamed up to creatively blend computer-based sounds (especially 8-bit ones, reminiscent of the golden age of consoles) with each member's particular tastes and influences. Video games, art, rock and the bizarre were all mixed up in this whimsical constructive clash. With an obvious reference to the golden era of Nintendos and Amigas, 8bit Pipe makes reference to the game world both in sound and imagery, searching continually to expand the possibilities of electronics in its unique take on rock 'n' roll.
