Patrick Mellon (vocals/guitar) formed Bridge Underwater in 2005 as a 17 year old. The project served as an outlet for Mellon’s interest in lo-fi pop and experimental music. Not content to remain a bedroom project forever, in 2009 Mellon asked friend John Basile to join him and play drums. The duo performed off and on until 2013 when they asked their mutual friend Max Iezzi to join as a permanent bassist.
