His music interest started in the early 80s at the age of 12, when his father bought him a classic guitar. He started taking guitar and piano lessons for 5 years until one day he decided with 3 of his friends to start a heavy metal group called ULTIMATUM. They got the name of the band from the gulf war, when the USA had sent an ultimatum to Saddam during the gulf war in 1989
The group split up in 1993 when 2 of the members went to the army, including Haris.
