Mahi Bukimi (real name, Maksims Borisovs) is Latvian sound designer from Liepāja, Latvia. His first musical experience was a graduating in piano at the Liepāja Musical School in 2000. Taking a part in the art rock project Karjer introduced musician to the Soviet era analog synthesizers and endless improvisations. 2001-2003 were the years of creating and developing the sound studio at media laboratory of the Culture and Information centre K@2 at Liepāja.
