I first heard about Cauterizer in 1990. They were a local band and a guy I went to school with played me a tape they had recorded. A while later I met them and for no apparent reason we decided that Cauterizer and a not so good band called Keks that I played in at the time should hook up and do a gig together. It was a lot of fun and I started hanging out with them and as things moved along they asked me if I'd be interested in joining them on guitar. I figured why not, and we started rehearsing some of the older material with the intention of recording a demo.
