I was born in Washington DC in 1954. My father had somewhat sensitive work with the government and was being investigated as a suspected communist the year I was born. My fathers work also took us to various overseas assignments when I was a child and to Puerto Rico when I was an adolescent. I came back to the States from Puerto Rico in 1973 and became mentally ill shortly after that. I have been writing poetry consistently since about 1975. I have lived and continue to live In Fayetteville N.C. since 1985.
