Owl In The Sun play original melody-driven songs rooted in folky Americana and gypsy jazz, combining acoustic instruments with rich vocal harmonies. The band has been making a splash in the West Country since the release of its debut album "Outside the City Way of Things" in 2010, described by Bob Harris on BBCR2 as ‘absolutely lovely’, and The Culture Show’s Mark Kermode as ‘A lovely album of songs which are wittily written, artfully arranged and niftily played’.
