The band is fronted by Todd "Zman" Zalkins. Todd is a well-known stand up comic, was the master of ceremonies of many Sublime shows and was the star of the bands video for "Date Rape". The Half Pound consists of members of the seminal Long Beach punk band The Falling Idols. Sublime covered their theme song, Falling Idols. Corn Doggy Dog's Trey Pangborn later played with Long Beach Shortbus, and drummer Mudd played with Gluefactory, 3rd Alley and currently plays for Perro Bravo.
