Kaia Wilson is a singer and guitarist originally from Oregon. She has played in Adickdid and the seminal queercore band Team Dresch. After appearing on the first Team Dresch album Personal Best, she recorded the acoustic solo album Kaia, co-released on Chainsaw Records and Candy Ass Records in 1995. After the second Team Dresh album Captain My Captain was released, Kaia left the band and formed Mr. Lady Records in Durham, North Carolina with (then) partner Tammy Rae Carland. In 1997 she recorded a second solo album Ladyman, with Team Dresch drummer Melissa York.
