Proteque (Gjøran Sæther) is a Norwegian artist who (among other ways) uses music and sound to express his art. When he does, it's mostly through old synthesizers in a style close to dark ambient and ambient industrial. The man behind the Proteque project is from the northwest coast of Norway. This has an heavy influence on his music. Proteque is also a demoscene artist.
