From their label site: SPRUCE was founded in 2002 by Christian Schnall in Regensburg, Germany as a one-man-project. Changing between electronic beats, clicks and cuts and pop songwriting he released various CD-Rs before his debut album Once Upon A Time on Schinderwies. Since 2005 Christian Schnall´s longtime friend and musical advisor Christian "Pacult" Winklhofer joined the lineup.
