Suman Sridhar is a singer, actor and songwriter. She and Jeet Thayil form the Mumbai-based music duo, Sridhar/Thayil. She grew up in Mumbai with Indian classical music in her family and earned an undergraduate degree in western classical music from Rutgers University, New Jersey, USA, where she studied voice under Professor Brian McIntosh. Suman collaborated with musicians in the NYC area. Her on-stage appearances include My Fair Lady (New Jersey, 1998), and musical adaptations of plays, Exit the King (TFA, Bangalore, 2007), and Day I Met the Prince (Working Title, Mumbai, 2009).
