Lihkören -- the Linköping University Male Voice Choir -- stands with its feet firmly planted in the rich tradition of Swedish male voice choirs. This has been the case since 1972, when the choir was founded among enthusiastic students at the Institute of Technology at Linköping University in Sweden. Through the years the choir has developed, both in the musical field and the organizational. The singers are recruited from all of the university's faculties, as well as from outside the university.
