Imants Ziedonis (May 3, 1933 - February 27, 2013) was a Latvian poet who first rose to fame during the Soviet period of Latvia. In 1995, he was awarded the Order of the Three Stars, Latvia's highest honor for civic merit to the nation. The audio CD album Epifānijas is an audio book, read by himself, of epiphanies (a form of prose, introduced by Ziedonis). The background music is composed by Raimonds Tiguls, the creator of Moonlight Sound Design music label.
