Sıla Gençoğlu is a Turkish musician whose music has pop and electronic elements. She usually goes by her first name 'Sıla' Sıla was born in Denizli. She worked before as a producer, lyricist and background singer for many Turkish artists like Kenan Doğulu and Emel Müftüoğlu. She released her first album "Sıla" in 2007. The first song released from it was "...Dan Sonra" and the biggest hit song of the year in Turkey. It spent 3 months at number one on the music charts.
