John Olav Nilsen & Gjengen is a Norwegian indie rock band from Loddefjord, Bergen, Norway. It is fronted by singer-songwriter and main vocalist John Olav Nilsen (born in 20 December 1982). The band plays a mix of several styles such as pop, rock, soul and punk, which they call "gatepop". The lyrics are entirely in Norwegian.
