From Birmingham U.K comes Alvin Davis, a multi instrumentalist and composer. As a session player and music teacher, Alvin has worked with the likes of Andy Hamilton, Edwin Starr, The Foundations, Neville Staples (Specials & Fun Boy Three), Alton Ellis, Macka B, Jackie Graham, Nigel Kennedy and David Hinds of Steel Pulse. Releasing his debut album ‘Let It Blow’ (Sony Tristar 1992), was for Alvin; “an opportunity to bare my soul in the studio and fulfil my ambitions.” For the critics it was “an erotic mix of horn and sax with expressive sensuality.”
