Branimir Djokic- Artistic editor-in -chief of the RTS Folk Ensemble, was born in 1950 in Sabac, where he also finished his elementary school as well as his elementary music school. He finished high music school “Stankovic” in Belgrade. He presented himself to the audience as outstanding instrumentalist on accordion, winning the first prize at the traditional competition in Sokobanja, 1964. Already the next year Branimir Djokic became the best instrumental soloist on accordion in Yugoslavia.
