Dave Gold, born Weston-Super-Mare, February 3rd, 1942. Composer, arranger, songwriter, musical director, record producer,bandleader. Influences are: Ray Charles, Quincy Jones, Bix Beiderbecke, Benny Goodman, Count Basie and others too numerous to mention. After living and working in Ireland for 11 years, Dave moved to France to run a bar / restaurant but returned to the U.K. at the end of 2010. He now resides in Rochester,Kent and is currently working with the last surviving member of Sinatra's Rat Pack - Buddy Greco.
