Dereleech (/ˈdɛrəlitʃ/) is a dark ambient/drone solo project of Matti Tolkki from Finland. The project was born in 2006 when he started experimenting with guitars and electronic filtering. The idea was to use stacks of filters to produce living/organic structureless and minimal ambient soundscapes. Since the beginning the compositional philosophy has shifted more and more towards fully electronic constructs.
