Little Quail and The Mad Birds was a seminal Brazilian power trio from Brasilia, formed by Gabriel Thomaz (guitar/vocal), Zé Ovo (bass/vocal) and Bacalhau (drums). Started in 1988, the band released 2 albums and 1 EP in 9 years, becoming one of the most influential bands in the Brazilian independent scene. Today, Gabriel plays guitar on Autoramas, Bacalhau is the drummer of Ultraje A Rigor (also funded and played on Rumbora) and Zé Ovo works as rodie of Maskavo.
