tilman schwanz originates from a classic musical family. quite early he also began to play, first in the age of six at the mainzer conservatory (academy of music) on the drums, one year later he went to his first piano lesson. the experienced skills of twelve years playing music made it possible to compose his own. when he decided with seventeen not to play in a band he came in contact with the mainzer clubscene.
