The acoustic guitarist Ferenc Snetberger (born in Hungary but based in Germany) has a subtle style that is classically-influenced but not lacking soul or shy to display his folk roots. Blessed with very impressive technique, Snetberger is a talented improviser who can display intensity and passion at a quiet volume. On this generally introverted trio set with bassist Martin Gjakonovski and drummer Kruno Levacic, Snetberger is in fine form whether performing with his regular group or interacting with guest vibraphonist David Friedman.
