Peter and Mette met for the first time in a train on the way to a party in Copenhagen in 2002, and when Peter heard Mette's beautiful voice, he just had to produce some music for it. They made a few tracks together, and when they in the summer of 2004 got in contact with Casper, they founded the band "Aycan". They made a couple of song, and to record the vocals, Peter's friend, Ahmad Darwich, stepped in to help. They all agreed that he really had the magic touch and was able to turn the songs into something very special. After a short while, he joined the band as the fourth member.
