Rona Nishliu was born on August 25, 1986 in Mitrovica, Kosovo. She is an Albanian singer and radio presenter. Nishliu represented Albania in the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 in Baku, Azerbaijan after winning the national selection on December 29, 2011 with the entry “Suus” and finished 5th. She is the first singer born in Kosovo to represent Albania in the contest.
Along with the primary school, she finished the elementary music school for piano (six years).
