Efrat Alony
Efrat Alony 1975 in Haifa, Israel, als Tochter irakischer Einwanderer geboren, studierte sie Komposition, Arrangement, Jazz- und klassischen Gesang, zunächst in ihrem Heimatland (Rimon school of jazz and contemporary music), dann in den USA (Berklee College of Music in Boston) und abschließend in Deutschland (Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler in Berlin). Sie nahm Unterricht u.a. bei Joe Lovano, Bob Brookmeyer und Steve Gray. Von da an ging es stetig weiter.
