New Faces, formerly known as Captain Incognito, had their beginnings in 2004 in the small town of Port Townsend, Washington, about an hour away from Seattle. In the midst of balancing their schoolwork, they slowly began to develop their unique take on the indie-pop-rock scene and plant the seeds of a budding fanbase. After playing more and more prolific shows and winning first place in the Experience Music Project SoundOff "Battle of the Bands" competition, they signed to Seattle independent label Loveless Records and released their debut album Two Years.
