Despoina Olympiou (Δέσποινα Ολυμπίου) is an alternative post-pop singer from Limassol, Cyprus. Olympiou has had a few hits such as “Βάλε μουσική”, “Θυμάμαι όσα είχες πει” and “Πες το δυνατά”. Her biggest hits are her duets with Hatzigiannis, “Να ‘σουν αλλιώς” and “Ο Παράδεισος δε φτιάχτηκε για μας”. The latter received the highest possible honor in the Greek music industry when it was named “Duet of The Year” in the prestigious MAD Video Music Awards in June 2008.
