xtrak, also known as .xtrak, is the "effective" or streamlined techno house of Todd Sines of New York, NY. In 1993, Todd Sines went on a trip to Detroit from his then hometown of Columbus, Ohio. Through Brian Gillespie [Throw, Databass, Twilight 76, Blue Collar Records], he was introduced to Carl Craig and Dan Bell . His first demos attracted the attention of each and he was offered a place on the Planet E compilation "elements of and experiments with sound" and a series releases on Accelerate and Dan's Seventh City label.
