Martin Roberts and Lee Tyler met in 2005 whilst studying Music Technology courses at Staffordshire University and soon discovered their shared love for the forgotten sound of UK Garage. After a few months of DJ'ing back-to-back and making long trips to visit UK Garage nights in the capital city, the duo decided to get in the studio and put some beats together, the first of which being a bootleg remix of Craig David's "All The Way". A crashed computer and an unsaved song later, and the computer shortcut 'Ctrl-S' soon became regularly used as they started the track over again.
