Masaki Batoh (馬頭將噐), who performs solely under his romaji name, is a singer-songwriter, composer, multi-instrumentalist and instrument maker from Japan. His music includes different genres: folk, world, celtic, medieval, new age, classical, experimental, noise and ambient.
Just like his songs, Masaki is bilingual (Japanese-English) and is also the founding member, singer and guitarist of the psychedelic group Ghost. He does both improvised music and compositions. In 2012, he created a machine that converts brainwaves into music notes.
