Ahmed Sirour is a native of Brooklyn, NY. He is a self-taught keyboardist/pianist with no formal or informal training in music, and learned how to play, from his late teens/early 20s, by listening to CDs on his boombox radio, practicing till he could not only duplicate the song, but also improvise his own ideas and create new songs. He later studied sound engineering, receiving his Masters degree in Audio Production from the University of Westminster in London, UK.
