Congrats to Class Act winner Hugh O’Neill from Sligo who plans to release his debut single in 2009. ‘Wake Up’ is Hugh’s own original composition and received its world premiere on the Class Act final on October 12th. Commissioned by RTE Entertainment, more than 32% of national TV viewers watched the Class Act final live from the Tivoli Theatre and saw Hugh beat off some amazing teenage talent to claim the 2008 trophy and the 10,000 euros first prize.
