Born on the US Virgin Island of St. Croix and raised in Crown Heights, Brooklyn, Wais P is no stranger to the industry or the streets. Growing up, Wais was exposed to the crack/cocaine epidemic as well as the prostitution rings that ran rampant during the Reagan administration. This tumultuous upbringing quickly pulled the young Wais into the school of hard knocks, where he received an education that could not be acquired through any accredited university.
