Moon Holiday is Sydneysider Alex Ward. Her self titled debut EP is a collection of childhood memories and nostalgia from living in China, sounds of the Moon Festival, lantern parades, dragon dances, neon lights and the oily harbour, while the lyrics are all about here, now, Sydney and the way fear and perfectionism gets in the way of everyone's plans. Her lo-fi, atmospheric productions and vocals are reminiscent of Washed Out and Toro Y Moi. Moon Holiday EP was released January 2011
