Born and raised in Richmond, Virginia, DJ Shake began producing in Summer 2009. His first mixtape, Summer School, was released a year later in August 2010. On Summer School, Shake received rave reviews for his ability to compose, produce, and master beats. Shortly after, DJ Shake and rapper T.D. founded 2Up2Down Productions, a record label and marketing project based in Richmond, Virginia. DJ Shake currently lives in Miami, Florida where he attends the University of Miami.
